Hauff-Technik expands international activities

Hermaringen/Bilbao - For the first time, the manufacturer of cable, pipe and cable bushings at the Wind Energy Week in Bilbao, Spain will be represented with its own booth.

Hauff-Technik will present its technologies for the wind energy industry on Spanish ground for the first time by participating in the current edition of the Wind Energy Week, which will be held at the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) from 2nd to 4th April 2019.

Hauff-Technik's entry into the Iberian market is part of its international expansion strategy. In the meantime, the products of the German company are already used in more than 40 countries.

Hauff-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1955, has been focusing since 1975 on the manufacture of cable and pipe sealing systems for energy, water, gas, telecommunication, installation and construction companies. With a turnover of 80 million euros in 2018, it has established itself as one of the largest companies in the construction and infrastructure sector of the German INDUS Group, to which it has belonged since 1985.

As one of the leading European manufacturers of sealing systems for cables, pipes and building entries, Hauff-Technik's products protect buildings against the penetration of water, gas, fire, dirt and vermin. In the past years the INDUS Group company has invested 15 million euros in its new headquarters in Hermaringen, which is located in the southern part of Germany. At the end of 2016, Hauff-Technik acquired a 50 percent stake in the German company ZweiCom GmbH, which is a specialist in producing components for fiber optic networks.
